Job summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Band 4 Production / Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Chemotherapy Production team. We would also consider applications from staff who are qualifying / registering soon on a progressional basis. This is a hands-on operational role supporting the preparation, documentation, stock management and supply of pharmaceutical products, working strictly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), SOPs and Trust policies. This post requires sustained concentration, accuracy and the ability to work effectively in a cleanroom production environment. Willingness to work for prolonged periods in cleanrooms, wearing specialist PPE. Basic IT skills and ability to complete accurate documentation Flexible attitude to working hours, sites and rotas. Main duties of the job Prepare pharmaceutical products within cleanroom suites under supervision, following SOPs and GMP Complete, check and maintain production documentation, worksheets and labels accurately. Perform in-process checks and promptly report errors, deviations or unusual occurrences Support stock management including ordering, receipt, rotation, expiry monitoring and issuing. Ensure cleaning of production and storage areas meets GMP and departmental standards Use pharmacy computer systems for production tracking, documentation and stock control Support supervision and day to day guidance of pharmacy assistants and trainees as required.
