Battery Test Engineer, £25-£30 per hour
12‑month contract role, up to £30.00 per hour (Inside IR35 basis).
Commutable from Coventry, Hinckley, Leicester, Birmingham, Rugby and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
* Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and internal engineering teams, offering guidance and technical advice on all aspects of battery abuse testing.
* Support the planning, set‑up, and execution of battery testing.
* Review and approve all test set‑ups prior to them starting.
* Ensure test data is captured, reviewed, and validated.
* Maintain all supporting test documentation, including Work Instructions and Risk Assessments.
Qualifications
* Strong technical background in engineering or testing (battery or automotive testing experience desirable).
* Clear communicator who can confidently liaise with both customers and technical teams.
* Detail‑oriented with a focus on data quality, safety, and compliance.
* Degree qualified in an automotive engineering or similar mechanical or electrical engineering discipline.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
