About Us
The Utz Group employs 1,350 people worldwide, including 80 in the UK. We develop, produce, and distribute storage and transport containers, pallets, technical parts, and workpiece carriers made of recyclable plastic. We manufacture with state-of-the-art injection molding machines and have our own toolmaking facilities. Our environmentally friendly products and services set industry benchmarks. Our goal is to use 100% renewable energy by 2030 and reduce our carbon footprint by over 50% by 2035.
Role Overview
This role offers the opportunity to become a key part of the Sales team in a varied and interesting technical sector. We are seeking a dedicated candidate to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project planning: Create detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resources.
2. Managing tenders: Review and action formal and technical documentation including NDAs, tenders, and contracts.
3. Identify & manage risk: Monitor progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
4. Project Management: Coordinate projects from inception to delivery, managing stakeholders, resources, and budgets.
5. Build relationships: Motivate, manage, and lead stakeholders with clear communication.
6. Reporting: Maintain organized reporting and evaluation systems.
7. Collaborate: Work effectively with internal and external teams to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will hold a higher qualification in Maths and English, with significant experience in a similar technical or engineering role. A qualification in Project Management is advantageous but not essential.
