About the role
The School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking to appoint a lecturer to contribute to academic teaching, ongoing development and scholarship within the Hearing Aid Audiology provision.
About you
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree in Audiology, Clinical Science, Healthcare Science, or in another related topic, and be registered or eligible to register with either the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) as an Audiologist or with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as either a Hearing Aid Dispenser or as a Clinical Scientist in Audiology. You should also have experience of teaching in Higher Education and have some clinical experience including in paediatric and/or vestibular audiology specialisms.
Applicants should also have training and/or experience in the following clinical procedures: otoscopy, case history, pure tone audiometry, masking, tympanometry, impression taking and real-ear-measurements (REMs).
