This role is being advertised on the potential that the incumbent competes for another role closer to home and will be boarded only if the incumbent is selected for another role. ROLE The Bn Air WO is a senior Non Commissioned soldier within the Bn and their principle duties are to set the standards of professionalism and conduct expected from the soldiers within their sub unit and Bn; an understanding of the Army's Values and Standards are key to this. The Air WO will be expected to lead by personal example and possess the professional ability and strength of character to ensure that soldiers follow the example. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist and deputise for Bn Air Adjt. Proactively seek out developmental opportunities for Bn pers. Support BG planning group. In particular for IPB and Q1. Support co-ord and control on Bn exercise. Support planning Bn exercises. In particular providing Genforce scenarios. Support updating Bn on current issues, enemy doctrine and operations. Maintaining values and standards and advise and support development of Air Cell NCOs. Liaise with sub units as required.
