Job Details:
Job Title: Oncology Pharmacist
Hourly Rate: £35 to £37 per hour (depending on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 530pm (1 hour break)
Payment Method: Umbrella or PAYE
Contract Type: Locum
Job Summary:
* Supporting chemo/oncology day unit - ensuring the safe and effective delivery of cancer treatment.
* Carrying out clinical screening of oncology screenings.
* Completing and validating prescriptions for patients.
* Using Chemocare.
* Supporting in overall flow of patients through the day unit and providing patient education.
* No remote working - will be based on site in the hospital.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
* Masters Degree in Pharmacy
* GPhC Registered as a Pharmacist
* Oncology experience essential with experience in carrying out clinical screenings of oncology screenings
* ChemoCare system experience desirable & have completed their BOPA passport completed (Highly desirable but some people may have started working in Oncology before passport came out so experience must be outlined)
* MUST have hospital Chemo/Oncology Day unit experience essential as opposed to a ward experience as this is covered by main pharmacy.
* Must have own indemnity insurance.
