This newly created role offers a genuine opportunity to shape the future of IT service delivery, with a strong emphasis on supplier management, service desk operations, and ICT security. This is a strategic position suited to someone who brings confident leadership while still being hands-on when needed in a technical capacity. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day Service Desk operations, overseeing incident, request, and change management to ensure timely resolution and continuous service improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party suppliers, holding them accountable to SLAs/KPIs and ensuring consistent service excellence. Drive the transition to a secure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model, supporting solution selection, procurement, and successful implementation. Promote a robust ICT security culture, helping develop and enforce best practice policies and procedures in line with ISO standards. Remain hands-on and technically involved where required, supporting patching, Office 365, Active Directory, and wider infrastructure troubleshooting. Manage and mentor a small internal technical support team, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture. Support strategic ICT planning, advising on future technologies, infrastructure improvements, and value-driven service enhancements. Deputise for the Head of ICT when required, contributing to governance, compliance, and high-level decision-making. Why Apply?
