Reed HR are working alongside a large Not for Profit Organisation based in West London who are recruiting for an experienced eRostering Delivery Manager on a permanent basis.
This role is hybrid so travel into the office is required.
Job Summary
The eRostering Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and optimisation of the organisations electronic eRoster system, ensuring efficient, safe, productive and cost-effective staffing across the establishment. This pivotal role supports the alignment of workforce planning with both operational needs and clinical demand.
The eRostering Delivery Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the system, ensuring rosters are accurate, timely, and in line with hospital policies and workforce standards. A key aspect of this role involves building strong, collaborative relationships with managers and departmental leaders across the business. You will work closely with them to understand service needs, offer expert guidance on rostering challenges, and support the development of innovative workforce practices that enhance flexibility and staff well-being.
Duties & Responsibilities
System management and support
* Responsible for hospital wide operational performance, management and development of the eRostering system for all staff groups, ensuring rosters are developed and signed off in line with company guidelines.
* Provide ongoing support and advice to system users, acting as the hospital lead in the maintenance of the system including upgrades and new version releases
* Actively manage and develop the eRostering system, owning the relationship with the supplier and participating in User Groups to identify and implement new ideas and best practice as required.
* Working in partnership with our Temporary Staffing team, play an integral role driving conversations about workforce planning, suggesting ideas for addressing any gaps and ensuring adequate staffing across the business within the agreed ratio.
* Work effectively with our Temporary Staffing team and leaders across the business to ensure that staffing is safe and effective, complying with relevant professional standards and organisation policies and procedures.
* Support the review of establishment models to ensure they continue to meet service requirements and relevant professional and regulatory standards
* Support Senior Managers and Department Managers in the production and analysis of effective rosters
* Produce and monitor compliance with the eRostering policy and raising issues when needed
* Understand the clinical governance requirements for all areas to ensure rosters are being planned accordingly.
Areas of focus
* Work with senior operational leaders to ensure staffing establishments remain fit for purpose, providing support and challenge regarding workforce and capacity planning
* Play a critical role providing subject matter expertise and advice, managing policy formulation and implementation as well as creating effective performance reports
* Support the delivery of agreed performance reports for Senior Leadership, working in partnership with Finance to ensure that reports are aligned to company priorities
* Manage any new Health Roster projects, integrating any new features and finding effective ways of fully utilising Health Roster in an independent hospital
* Develop and deliver training sessions for managers and staff on effective roster management and system use.
