Your Impact
London based lawyer within the legal division supporting private credit strategies at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in EMEA, with a strong emphasis on transaction support and execution for debt deals. The private credit transactions include leveraged finance deals (senior and mezz/junior), real estate finance, investment grade, asset finance and infrastructure. Providing transactional advice during the life cycle of an investment, including structuring, negotiation of deal documentation, review of diligence, consideration of associated regulatory issues, and asset management support. Involvement in regulatory and other projects that affect the Alternatives business. Supporting the platform’s ongoing fundraising activity. Extensive interaction with investment professionals and colleagues across compliance, tax, credit and operations. Instructing and managing external counsel.
Qualifications
* Good team player, dynamic and capable of working proactively with initiative on a wide range of issues in a fast-paced environment.
* UK, US or EU (or similar) qualified.
* 1-4 years post qualification experience.
* European cross-border transaction experience also helpful.
* Experience in acquisition/leveraged/real estate /infrastructure/structured finance relevant.
