Job Title: Steel Fitters (x2) Location: Tilbury Start Date: Monday 15th January 2025 Contract Length: 8 Weeks Role Overview We are looking for two experienced Steel Fitters to join our team on an 8-week contract starting Monday in Tilbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled professionals who can handle conveyor steelwork and associated tasks. Key Responsibilities As a Steel Fitter, you will install handrails, bends, and bolt-on steel guards Steel fitting, grinding, and drilling holes General fabrication and assembly of conveyor components Occasional weekend work may be required Potential work over Christmas (24th, 25th, 26th, 31st, 1st OFF ) Requirements CSCS Card Mandatory IPAF Certification Mandatory Strong knowledge of steelwork and fabrication Ability to work with conveyors and associated components Welding experience nice to have, not essential Working Hours Standard: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (flexible) Optional extended hours: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM Overtime: Paid after 47.5 hours/week (OT rate applies after 50 hours) Additional Info Must be prepared for potential Christmas shifts Weekend work may be required Competitive hourly rate Please call chloe at orion on 01296737307 or email on Thank you for your application.
