Are you a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to take the lead on high-profile public sector projects? Our client, a highly respected and award-winning Tier 1 main contractor, is looking to strengthen their commercial team in Bristol due to continued growth and a robust pipeline of secured work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex projects across defence, justice, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the successful commercial delivery of MOD and MOJ framework projects across the South West region.

Role Responsibilities
5. Lead the commercial management of key MOD and MOJ projects from pre-construction through to final account
6. Oversee procurement strategies, contract administration, and cost reporting
7. Mentor and manage junior commercial team members
8. Ensure project profitability through rigorous cost control and value engineering
9. Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
10. Contribute to strategic planning and commercial decision-making at project and regional level
What We’re Looking For
11. Solid track record with a Tier 1 or major main contractor
12. Strong experience on public sector frameworks – MOD/MOJ projects desirable
13. Highly proficient in NEC and/or JCT contracts
14. Strong leadership and negotiation skills
15. Based in the South West with flexibility to travel to sites across the region
