Field Service Engineer
Our client is a specialist engineering business within the water treatment sector, providing installation, servicing and maintenance of water treatment systems for industrial and commercial clients across the UK and internationally.
The Role
Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is a varied, field-based role involving servicing, maintenance and installation of water treatment systems at customer sites across the UK, with occasional overseas travel.
Full training will be provided along with a company vehicle, tools, PPE, tablet and phone. As experience develops, there will be opportunities to assist with commissioning projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Service and maintain water treatment systems including Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, Filters and Water Softeners
* Install and commission equipment (depending on experience)
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site and remotely
* Build strong relationships with customers and site teams
* Complete service reports and documentation
* Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety requirements
* Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
About You
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
* Electrical Engineering background preferred, mechanical experience considered
* Experience as a Service Engineer or field-based technical role desirable
* Water treatment or PLC experience advantageous
* Strong communication and IT skills
* Self-motivated with a professional, customer-focused approach
Pay and working Pattern
· £33,000 - £37,000
· Monday to Friday with flexibility for call-outs and overnight stays with additional pay
