We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work in our Wakefield Families Together Platform 1 Youth Hub.
Excellent customer care and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team or independently using your own initiative.
Key responsibilities include:
* meeting and greeting
* promoting & publicising Youth Hub events & activities using various social media platforms
* dealing with telephone calls from members of the public and internal colleagues
* room bookings
* financial tasks
* minute taking at various multi‑agency meetings
* general administrative tasks to support senior managers, practitioners and other professionals
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential as all tasks are required to be completed to a high standard.
Due to the nature of these roles, you must be fully aware of all aspects of data protection and confidentiality as you will be working in an environment dealing with extremely sensitive and emotive information on a daily basis, including information relating to the abuse and injuries to children and young people.
Core office hours are 8:30‑17:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:30‑16:30 on Friday. This post is part of the flexi time scheme.
Suitable applicants will be invited to attend an assessment centre and formal interview.
A standard DBS check and clearance will be required for the posts.
