Overview
Position : Production Technician
Location : Sheffield
Sector : Engineering, manufacturing
Salary : 28,000-35,000 according to experience
Hours : Days only. 4 day week. 38 hours
Responsibilities
* Mechanical assembly following engineering drawings
* Using basic hand tools
* Basic soldering and welding beneficial
* Installing and wiring electrical components/panels from basic electrical schematics
* Basic electrical test and inspection abilities preferred
About you
* Good skill base in mechanical Assembly/fitting
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
* Previous machining processes and skill in performing machining operations such as drilling, milling, and turning would be a distinct advantage but not essential
* Previous experience in Panel Wiring would be advantageous but is not essential
* Own transport due to site location having poor public transport
