About Tadley Court School
Our school is a specialist setting with an Ofsted rating of Good with Outstanding features. Located in a semi-rural area with four acres of grounds, we cater to children and young people aged 4 to 19 with Autism and either SLD or MLD. We value career progression and a family ethos, attracting professionals committed to our success.
While our model is largely mainstream primary, experience in this sector is beneficial. You will lead and support colleagues to ensure high-quality education across all phases, supporting our pupils to be as independent as possible.
Role and Responsibilities
The Deputy Headteacher supports the Headteacher in strategic planning, managing, leading, and developing the school. Responsibilities include:
* Formulating the vision, ethos, and objectives
* Leading school improvement and self-evaluation
* Establishing policies for school organisation and effectiveness
* Managing staff and resources
* Promoting inclusion within the school community
* Leading on the quality of education and curriculum development
* Motivating staff and monitoring student progress
