Essential Requirements
The post holder must hold at least a practitioner level qualification, such as:
1. HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7; or
2. SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF 7; or
3. Equivalent qualifications meeting SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) registration requirements, e.g.,
4. SVQ 3 Child Care and Education
5. SVQ 3 Early Years Care and Education
6. SVQ Children’s Care Learning and Development SCQF 7
7. HNC Childcare and Education
8. HNC Working with Children in Early Years
9. HNC Early Education and Childcare (SCQF level 7)
Qualifications previously recognized for SNNEB/NNEB registration may also be acceptable.
An up-to-date first aid certificate is also required.

Hours of Work: 27 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday 07:15-16:45, Tuesday 08:15-17:45, Wednesday 08:15-17:45
Weeks per Year: 52
Please note that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale. The minimum salary for this position, based on 27 hours/week over 52 weeks, is £22,682.64 per annum.
Requirements
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
