At Vantage, we’re on a transformational journey — and our People & Culture (P&C) team is right at the heart of it. As part of our EMEA growth strategy, our dynamic P&C team of 10 professionals is evolving to support the rapid expansion of our workforce, which currently stands at 1191 across the region.
We are now looking for a proactive, people-focused HR Generalist to join our central service delivery team and help shape the future of HR support across EMEA.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This pivotal role sits at the core of our EMEA People & Culture function. You’ll be a key player in driving high-quality HR service delivery, providing Operational HR support as well as supporting change management projects and activities across EMEA, working closely with local P&C Managers and HR Business Partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
1. Operational HR Support: Manage the employee lifecycle — from recruitment to onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
2. Employee Relations: Be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers; support employee relation cases with a unified, thoughtful approach.
3. Compliance: Support country managers in ensuring that all HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.
4. Culture & Engagement: Help drive a positive workplace culture through employee relations, engagement activities, and employee feedback programs.
5. HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR systems and tools.
6. Change Management: Support delivery of transformation and change initiatives across the business.
7. Data & Insights: Provide reports and data to support strategic business decision-making.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
8. Solid experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the EMEA region — experience in the UK is essential, Italy is highly desirable, and experience in other countries such as Switzerland, Poland, Luxembourg, and South Africa is a plus.
9. Strong understanding of local employment law and HR policies
10. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
11. High level of discretion and empathy when handling sensitive matters
12. Analytical mindset to assess HR risks and make informed decisions
13. Proven success in employee relations and managing complex ER cases
14. Experience of proactively embedding legislation changes/requirements in the organization
15. Experience of partnering with L&D function to create learning interventions for upskilling leaders/line managers
16. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
17. Additional certifications in HR or employment law are a plus
18. Fluency in English is essential; Italian or German language skills are a strong advantage
