Position Description:
Dariti Transportation LLC is seeking reliable and compassionate drivers to provide safe, timely, and professional non-emergency medical transportation services. Drivers are responsible for transporting clients to and from medical appointments, assisting passengers as needed, and ensuring a comfortable and respectful experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices properly (if applicable)
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to assigned schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform daily safety checks
- Follow all company policies and state regulations
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2?3 years of driving experience
- Ability to pass background check (CORI) and drug screening
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous NEMT or passenger transport experience
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- PASS (Passenger Assistance Safety & Sensitivity) Certification
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
Work Conditions:
- Flexible scheduling based on trip assignments
- Local and occasional long-distance trips
- May require assisting passengers with mobility needs
