Job Summary
We are seeking experts in Game Graphics to work on the Kirin platform, a groundbreaking SOC powering Huawei devices. The role involves creating interactive, visually appealing applications and scenes, collaborating with AI and graphics teams, and working with technologies like Unreal Engine 5.
Job Purpose:
* Develop interactive scenes and cinematics in Unreal Engine 5.
* Coordinate with graphics, AI, and GPU teams to develop suitable applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create applications with scenes and cinematics for research.
2. Implement basic interactivity and usability features.
3. Integrate graphics algorithms into applications.
4. Provide in-engine tooling as needed.
This role involves additional duties as assigned and ongoing review based on Huawei’s needs.
Required Qualifications:
* At least 4 years of experience in real-time rendering engines (Unreal Engine, Unity).
* Knowledge of game design practices.
* Programming or scripting experience in-engine.
* Experience with shader/material creation (HLSL/GLSL, UE5/Unity Material graph).
* Experience with full development cycles of mobile/PC games.
* Bachelor’s/MSc/PhD in Game Design, Computer Science, or related fields.
* Passion for graphics and real-time rendering.
* Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Desired Qualifications:
* Proficiency with 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya, 3DS Max).
* Knowledge of graphics programming languages (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX).
* Understanding of advanced lighting techniques (deferred rendering, ray-tracing) and image processing (Bloom, DoF, super-resolution).
