An established and fast-growing company within the construction services sector is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead and develop a high-performing sales team. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for driving revenue growth, shaping sales strategy, and managing a team across new business and account management. Key Responsibilities * Lead, coach, and develop a team to consistently achieve and exceed targets * Own and execute the sales strategy in line with wider business objectives * Drive new business acquisition while strengthening existing client relationships * Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and implement improvement plans where required * Work closely with senior leadership, operations, and marketing to align commercial activity * Forecast sales performance and report on pipeline, revenue, and market trends The Candidate * Previous experience managing sales teams within either waste management, plant hire, or builders’ merchant sectors * Demonstrable success managing and motivating a sales team * Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and contract-based selling * Track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth * Strong analytical and forecasting skills * Hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire and challenge * Supportive leadership team and clear progression potential
