A respected and long-established ground investigation and geotechnical consultancy is seeking an ambitious Engineering Geologist to join its growing team in Wolverhampton. Working across a diverse range of development and infrastructure projects, this is an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Geologist looking to gain hands-on experience within a specialist consultancy known for delivering high-quality, pragmatic solutions throughout the UK.
The successful Engineering Geologist will support a variety of geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations, working on projects from initial desk studies through to site works, testing, monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with ground investigations and site inspections
2. Logging soil and rock samples and interpreting ground conditions
3. Supporting geotechnical and geoenvironmental assessments
4. Groundwater and ground gas monitoring
5. Preparing factual and interpretive reports
6. Liaising with clients, contractors and internal technical teams
7. Supporting validation and verification activities where required

Requirements
13. Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline
14. Previous site investigation, geotechnical or geoenvironmental experience preferred
15. Strong communication and report-writing skills
16. Full UK driving licence
17. Full right to work in the UK
18. Must live in or near the Wolverhampton office
19. Motivated, organised and keen to develop as an Engineering Geologist
