Setting: Secondary Schools (Key Stage 3 & 4)

Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting secondary-aged pupils? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of thriving secondary schools throughout Manchester.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience, particularly if you're considering a future in teaching or have worked in school environments previously.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining a productive and positive classroom environment in the absence of the class teacher. You’ll cover a broad range of subjects, so a flexible and confident attitude is key.
What We’re Looking For:
A minimum of 3 months' experience working in UK schools (secondary level).
Full-time availability: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
A confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills.
The ability to build rapport with students and maintain a supportive learning atmosphere.
Willingness to work across multiple schools and subject areas.
Ideal Backgrounds:
Recent graduates considering a career in teaching.
Individuals with TA, youth work, or tutoring experience.
Former teachers or HLTAs looking for flexible work in schools.
Individuals who have worked as teachers in other countries.
