Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, to play a lead role in collaborative research projects and conduct ongoing original research and publications in Mathematical Sciences.
Qualifications
* PhD degree and preferably postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in Applied Mathematics or Statistics.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
* Experience of supervising PhD and Master students.
* Successful acquisition of external research funding is essential.

Contract
The post will initially be offered on a fixed term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period of 5 years starting September 2026. This contract may be extended by mutual agreement.
