As The University of Buckingham celebrates 50 years of innovative thinking and independent spirit, this role puts you at the centre of its storytelling. You’ll craft clear, engaging and impactful communications that keep staff informed and connected, while helping to showcase the University’s distinctive vision for its next chapter.
You’ll manage key internal platforms and create compelling content that supports campaigns to elevate Buckingham’s reputation externally. It’s a fast‑paced, collaborative role where no two work days look the same – perfect for a creative communicator who thrives on developing meaningful content that inspires.

Alongside this, the role supports the wider Marketing function by assisting in creating content for a range of digital and print channels.

It also liaises with staff and students right across the University. The position manages the staff intranet, staff newsletter, and supports ad‑hoc communication requests and institutional projects to ensure that key initiatives achieve their communications objectives with timely, engaging, and accurate content. The role holder will plan, write and edit for a variety of internal and external mediums to ensure organisational initiatives and projects are communicated in an engaging, accurate and succinct way.
