London | Hybrid (3 days in studio) | £39,000-55,000 (depending on experience)
Are you ready to take the next step in your architectural career… not just production, but leading the conversation?
We’re working with one of the UK’s most established architecture studios… known for creating purposeful, high-impact buildings across sectors like transport, education, healthcare, and hospitality.
They’re looking for a talented architect with leadership potential.
Someone who’s a safe pair of hands.
Someone who thrives on clarity, coordination, and team momentum.
Someone ready to step into more.
This Isn’t Just About Design. It’s about direction. Ownership. Influence.
You’ll lead on the delivery of complex, high-value projects/packages across all RIBA stages, supporting major projects across the UK and internationally. You'll manage workflows, coordinate design information, and act as a key link between teams, clients, and consultants.
This is a wide-ranging role that will draw on every part of your skillset… from design development and detailing to programming and resource planning, commercial awareness, and client interaction.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Be the go-to architect for a major project or workstream.
* Lead across all RIBA stages, from early briefing to site delivery.
* Manage coordination of structure, MEP, wayfinding, interiors, and wider design teams, in a lead consultant environment.
* Attend, lead, and contribute to client meetings, design reviews, and workshops.
* Oversee junior team members and delegate tasks to meet project deadlines.
* Prepare GA drawings, technical details, reports, schedules, and specifications.
* Ensure documentation aligns with quality standards.
* Monitor time, resources, and risks… supporting profitability and performance.
* Take ownership of clear communication across consultants and stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate...
* A technically strong ARB Architect with a minimum of 2 years post Part II qualification experience in complex UK or international project environments.
* Someone who’s already running high-value packages or leading coordination in practice, or hungry for this responsibility.
* Confident across technical standards, building codes, and specification writing.
* Strong experience with Revit and BIM environments.
* An organised, self-motivated individual with strong team and time management skills.
* Calm under pressure, clear in meetings, and focused on quality.
* Someone looking for growth and exposure to high-profile, complex projects whilst retaining a strong work/life balance.
Why This Role?
* Broaden Your Skillset… Step up into a leadership role while staying close to design
* Work on Impactful Projects… From UK transport hubs and international aviation schemes to higher education and luxury hospitality.
* Hybrid Working… Collaborate in a central London studio, with flexible working built in.
* Supportive Culture… Join a diverse team that values autonomy, mentorship, and collaboration.
* Room to Grow… Clear pathways for progression and additional responsibility, with the chance to shape team culture and delivery.
This Is Your Moment to Step Forward.
Whether you’re leading coordination behind the scenes or quietly holding a complex project together, this is your chance to formalise that leadership and build something bigger.
If you’re ready to lead projects, support teams, and help deliver architecture that lasts, we’d love to hear from you.
