A UK-based consultancy is looking for a Lead Consultant with expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud. The role sits within the Oracle delivery unit and focuses on supporting and implementing HCM Cloud solutions for public sector clients. This opportunity involves leading technical and functional discussions, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring successful solution deployment.
This position has been created due to an increase in demand for Oracle HCM Cloud projects in the public sector. The chosen candidate will play a key role in both implementation and continuous support across relevant modules, ensuring projects run smoothly in accordance with best practice and business objectives.
Key duties
* Lead the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically Talent Management and Learning modules
* Conduct functional design and configuration based on client requirements
* Work across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including CRPs, testing and transition to support
* Manage integrations, data migrations and reporting requirements
* Design and build security roles including job roles, data roles and security profiles
* Ensure alignment with Agile or Waterfall methodologies, depending on the project delivery approach
* Deliver stakeholder updates and status reporting, including maintaining RAID logs
* Promote the use of Redwood UX and tools for better user experience and engagement
* Analyse and mitigate technical, functional and security risks
Candidates should have extensive experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud Talent and Learning modules for public sector clients in the UK. Strong knowledge of journey configuration, approvals, extensions and reporting is required. The role calls for somebody comfortable leading discussions with technical and non-technical audiences, with proven experience delivering solutions in an Agile environment.
Applicants should be adept in managing the SDLC from design through go-live and be confident with functional design, documentation and delivery tracking. Experience working in global delivery environments and understanding of Redwood functionality are also desirable.
