Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a bustling local authority, based in the Pembrokeshire, which is in need of a Lawyer to join their Commercial Contracts and Procurement team. This role is due to last until September 2025!
ROLE: Commercial Contracts Lawyer
RATE: £40-£45 umbrella
CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 months - part time
LOCATION: : Pembrokeshire - can be done REMOTELY
The responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts lawyer role:
1. Handle your own Commercial Contracts caseload from start to completion. Also advise on Procurement matters
2. There will be a requirement to handle non-contentious contract matters
3. The drafting and completion of bespoke and standard forms of contract, including NEC and JCT contracts
Requirements for the role:
4. Someone with 3+ years of PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement law
5. Ideally someone who has worked directly for a Local Authority previously within a Commercial Contracts team
6. Someone who is comfortable providing support to junior member of a team
