The successful candidate will be involved in both pre-litigated and litigated matters, providing strategic legal advice, drafting key documents, and liaising with clients, counsel, and medical experts.

The team is known for its technical expertise and practical approach, acting for major insurers and public sector bodies across the UK. Candidates should have up to three years’ post-qualification experience, ideally in personal injury or disease litigation. Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward client service are essential.

This opportunity offers high-quality work, a collaborative and inclusive culture, and access to flexible working arrangements and clear career development pathways.

The private client department, led by a Partner, offers comprehensive services including wills, trusts, executries, powers of attorney, guardianships, and tax planning. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while also supporting Partners with more complex matters, delivering bespoke advice and maintaining strong client relationships.

Applications from all levels, from NQ upwards, will be considered. Prior experience in private client work and excellent communication skills are essential. This is an exciting opportunity offering a broad range of high-quality work, professional development, and a friendly, supportive working environment.

A competitive benefits package is available, including hybrid working, career progression opportunities, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Residential Conveyancing – East Lothian (Haddington) or Glasgow (Assignment 16096)

This well-established Scottish firm is currently recruiting a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its team in East Lothian or Glasgow. The firm has a strong reputation in the local market, with particular focus on estate agency, residential and commercial conveyancing, private client, and family law work.

As part of the residential property team, you will handle a range of matters including plot sales for housebuilder clients and purchase/sale transactions for private clients. You will manage client relationships throughout the conveyancing process and contribute to maintaining the firm’s high standard of service.

This opportunity would suit qualified solicitors with residential conveyancing experience who are confident managing transactions independently and are motivated to join a growing and collaborative team. Applicants should have experience in residential conveyancing. While 3+ years’ PQE is preferred, newly qualified and junior solicitors with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

While this is a full-time, permanent role, the firm supports hybrid working with a maximum of two days per week in the office for full-time staff. Part-time and flexible working arrangements will also be considered, and a competitive salary with scope for career development is offered.

Rural Property – Glasgow (Assignment 16627)

The team specialises in rural property transactions, advising rural businesses and landowners on areas such as land and estates, farms, agriculture, forestry, and crofting.

The successful candidate will be a newly qualified solicitor with experience in property matters, and a focus on rural property being preferred but not essential. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team, delivering top-tier advice to a wide range of public and private sector clients, including some of Scotland’s largest landowners and leading rural sector bodies. You will gain valuable experience handling complex rural transactions and contribute to the growth and success of an evolving practice area.

This is a full-time position within a supportive and friendly firm.

Diseases (Liability) – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 11377)

A leading Law Firm is seeking a Lawyer to join its Disease Team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role offers a hybrid working pattern and is part of the firm’s Insurance Division. The successful candidate will be based in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office, working within a collaborative and technically strong team known for delivering practical and commercial solutions in defender insurance litigation.

The position involves managing a varied caseload of occupational disease claims, including noise-induced hearing loss, hand-arm vibration syndrome, asbestos-related conditions, and other long-tail matters. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, conducting research, liaising with clients and experts, and supporting senior lawyers on complex cases.
The ideal candidate will be at the NQ-4 years’ PQE level and should have experience in defender disease or personal injury litigation, preferably representing insurers or corporate defenders, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

The firm offers a dynamic and inclusive working environment, with a strong emphasis on professional development, diversity, and sustainability.

Charities Associate/Senior Associate – Edinburgh or Glasgow (Assignment 17759)

A well-established Scottish law firm is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join its Charities and Third Sector team, based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. The firm is known for its comprehensive legal services and strong reputation across both commercial and private client sectors.

This opportunity involves working closely with a diverse range of socially driven organisations—from national charities and foundations to grassroots community groups and social enterprises. The successful candidate will advise on governance, regulatory compliance, restructuring, and trustee training, contributing to the development of the team’s growing profile in the sector.

Applicants should have a minimum of two years’ PQE, ideally gained within charity law or related areas such as corporate, public law, or private client work. A genuine interest in the third sector—whether through professional practice, volunteering, or trusteeship—is highly valued. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team are essential.

Flexible working arrangements, including part-time hours and hybrid options, may be considered depending on experience. Applications are also welcomed from senior professionals looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and expanding practice.

Responsibilities will include conducting property diligence for lenders and drafting and negotiating loan and security documentation.

Applicants should be newly qualified or have up to three years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), with a background in either commercial or residential property law. Prior exposure to property finance is desirable, though not essential, as training will be provided for those keen to develop in this area.

This is a full-time role, with flexibility around working hours. While initially office-based, hybrid working arrangements may be considered depending on experience.

The firm is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, where all employees are supported and valued.
