We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Trading Manager to join our B&M team based in our Central Support Office in Lasswade on a 12 month fixed term basis. You will be managing the online platform to ensure dobbies.com produces strong sales, through developing a digital strategy specific to your category(s), consisting of product and brand on-boarding edit creation and on-site merchandising. As a manager and leader within Dobbies, showing strong team management skills, driving performance through empowering your direct reports and your teams to make the right decisions.
Responsibilites
1. Overseeing the overall sell through of the business, ensuring all products are delivering strong sales. Being the creative and strategic thinker to deliver a clear product focus through edit creation and on-site mechanising.
2. Supporting with the overall digital strategy by owning and delivering on the strategy specific to your category(s)
3. Use analytics to fully understand our customer and their behaviours to develop the best possible customer journey and online experience.
4. Working collaboratively with other areas of the business to ensure dobbies.com gives the best possible representation of our stores and product offering.
5. Acting as a digital champion, ensuring trends are recognised and represented.
6. Set up and build of new products online ensuring all features, category, pricing, imagery, and attributes are accurate.
7. Work together with Buying & Operations completing the product attribute sheet accurately.
8. Upload and maintain the products on product detail page.
9. Own daily and launch walkthrough/website check sheets, coordinate, and fix all issues/requests.
10. Respond quickly to issues raised by the Customer Service team ensuring fixes are actioned in timely manner.
11. Work on visual merchandise allocated categories ensuring direction and guidelines set up by Digital Visual Merchandising are met.
12. Write product descriptions as and when required.
13. Support with the launch of seasonal Sales and other promotions.
14. Assist with user acceptance testing on all new functionality and report all issues, bugs and feature enhancements as required.
15. Liaise with and build a close working relationship with the key stakeholders across Merchandising, Creative, Buying, Customer Service and Operations.
16. Work closely with the E-commerce team on all admin-related tasks.
17. Feed into weekly / monthly reporting, present trading analysis on weekly meetings
18. Manage team budget, performance and other aspects of management
19. Train and mentor junior team members
20. Provide oversight to team, managing day-to-day issues and concerns, coaching and developing all team members, driving performance and deliver of the company goals through inhouse tools and ensuring all managed within company policy, procedures and processes.
