Senior Support Worker Job in Chester
Embrace Care is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our CQC-regulated adult residential service in Chester.
This role supports adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, complex needs and mental health needs. You will combine hands-on care with shift leadership responsibility, mentoring Support Workers and ensuring high standards of safeguarding and compliance.

* Approx. £33,500 per year including sleep-ins

Senior Support Worker Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to adults
* Lead shifts and support junior Support Workers
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding standards
* Administer and oversee medication safely
* Complete accurate care documentation and incident reports
* Support care planning and risk assessments
* Promote independence, wellbeing and meaningful activities
* Support new staff through induction and mentoring
What We Are Looking For
* Experience in Adult Social Care
* Experience supporting Autism, Learning Disabilities or complex needs
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete)
* Understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding
* Ability to lead shifts and role-model best practice
* Flexibility to work shifts including sleep-ins
* Enhanced DBS required
