Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real impact in a supportive Birmingham primary school? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a confident and proactive HLTA to join one of our fantastic partner schools, helping to deliver high-quality learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
The Role
As the HLTA, you will:
* Lead whole-class teaching during teacher PPA, absence, or intervention blocks
* Run small-group and 1:1 targeted interventions to boost progress in key learning areas
* Support behaviour, engagement and positive learning routines
* Work closely with class teachers, SENDCo and leadership to deliver excellent provision
* Contribute to planning and assessment where appropriate
* Bring energy, flexibility, and a passion for helping children thrive
Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
* HLTA status (essential)
* Experience delivering lessons or interventions in a primary setting
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A positive, team-focused attitude
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
