Responsibilities
* Ensure that the workplace, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
* Complete shift reports detailing production, downtime, including any specific data required relevant to shift. Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and Day Support regarding the operations of the shift.
* Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
* Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/accidents and hazards are duly reported.
* Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department regarding the condition of the production equipment or problems.
* Provide support for holiday, sickness, training and maintenance cover.
Requirements
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Good awareness of health and safety practices, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
* Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality are consistently met.
* Team oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to shared goals.
* Performance driven, with a focus on reliability, meeting deadlines, and achieving production targets.
* Basic IT proficiency preferred, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Willingness and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including both days and nights.
