We’re now looking for a Strategic Buyer to join our Global Purchasing team and take ownership of procurement activities for one of our key global customers. This is a varied and hands-on role, working closely with sales and project teams to ensure suppliers, contracts, and materials are in place to support successful project delivery. WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING * Managing customer-specific suppliers to ensure capacity, quality, and performance * Forecasting and planning supplier capacity in line with project timelines * Negotiating framework agreements and project-specific contracts * Acting as the main procurement contact throughout the full project lifecycle * Supporting supplier development and contributing to sustainability targets * Helping optimise procurement processes and reporting against supply chain and cost-saving goals WHAT YOU’LL NEED * Previous experience in a commercial purchasing or buyer role * A degree in a technical or commercial field is preferred * Ideally qualified CIPS or another recognised procurement qualification (or working towards it) * A proactive, structured way of working with strong stakeholder engagement skills * Ability to work across functions and cultures with confidence and professionalism * Fluent in English (Dutch or German language would be an advantage) * Willingness to travel internationally up to 60% of the time WE OFFER * Flexible working environment with hybrid working arrangements * Contributory pension scheme up to 7% employer contribution * Life assurance * A Health Cash Plan * 25 Days' holiday plus bank holidays and the ability to buy additional holidays * Free use of the onsite gym, including weekly classes
