Job Title: Hotel Receptionist
Reports to: Hotel Manager

Hours: Zero Hours
Job Purpose:
To be the first point of contact for all visitors to the Hotel, providing a friendly, welcoming, and efficient service to all guests.
We are looking for a friendly, hard working and enthusiastic person to join our reception team. Full Training, uniform and supervision will be given.
Shift work including weekends and bank holidays and a mixture of shifts, as and when required. Shift times are 7.00am - 3.00pm and 3.00pm pm, with a few varying shifts in between.
Key responsibilities and duties
To undertake reception duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a superb customer experience.
* To build a good rapport with all guests and resolve any complaints/issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service.
* To deal with incoming post and ensure it is distributed in a timely manner.
* To assist with franking outgoing mail and ensuring that it is all ready to be collected by Royal Mail by 3pm each day.
* To ensure the reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
* To undertake general office duties, including correspondence, emails, filing and switchboard, to ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
* To report any maintenance, breakage or cleanliness problems to the relevant manager.
* To adhere to all fire safety test procedures and to assist in the evacuation process in the event of a fire.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin or equivalent. (desirable)
Experience
* Previous experience in a customer facing role. (desirable)
Knowledge & Skills
* Outstanding customer service skills.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
* Good IT Skills.
* Confident telephone manner.
* Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and juggle conflicting demands.
