GSL Education are seeking a passionate and imaginative Teacher of Art & Design to join a vibrant school in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, skilled educator who can inspire students to experiment, express themselves, and develop strong artistic and design capabilities.
Role Responsibilities of Art & Design Teacher:
* Facilitate stimulating Art & Design sessions throughout the Key Stages, as appropriate.
* Guide students in exploring diverse artistic methods, materials, and practices.
* Promote innovation, analytical thinking, and self-directed artistic growth.
* Evaluate pupils’ creations, give insightful feedback, and support their ongoing development.
* Partner with fellow educators to improve the curriculum and exchange effective teaching approaches.
What You’ll Bring as an Art & Design Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Art & Design in a school environment.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make creative learning enjoyable and accessible.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
