Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client; an established manufacturing firm based in Southend-on-Sea for an Accounts Assistant. The role entails (but is not limited to): Processing invoicing and dealing with supplier queries. Ensuring all invoices are paid on time and preparing post-sales invoicing. Assisting with credit control where needed. Daily reconciliations with the bank. Assisting with payroll and all relating tasks. Other tasks relevant to the financial management of the company. A successful candidate will have: Previous experience using an accounting system such as Sage or Xero. Experience working within an internal accounts department. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to work alone and part of a team.
