About the Role
Evolve is partnering with a leading UK pharmaceutical company to recruit an Accuracy Checking Technician. This detail-focused pharmacy professional will support safe and efficient dispensing, including accuracy checking prescriptions (post‑qualification), managing stock lines, and helping reduce dispensing errors. You will also coach colleagues, contribute to process improvements, and work closely with the pharmacy team to deliver a high‑quality, patient‑focused service.
Employment Details
Full‑time, permanent position based at the client’s head office in Wiltshire. Monday to Friday on a shift rota between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm.

Ideal Requirements for the Accuracy Checking Technician
* Qualified pharmacy technician (GPhC registered or working towards) with ACT accreditation or willingness to gain it.
* Experience in dispensing with a strong focus on accuracy, safe and efficient stock control, and prescription handling.
* Patient‑focused and compliance‑driven, prioritising safety and adherence to GPhC and MHRA standards.
* Proactive, organised team player with strong communication, initiative, problem‑solving skills, and a drive for continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities for the Accuracy Checking Technician
* Clinical accuracy & prescription checking: take ownership of technical accuracy, ensuring prescriptions are processed safely and efficiently.
* Workflow coordination & operational oversight: manage daily dispensary activity and work closely with the Responsible Pharmacist for smooth, timely operations.
* Continuous improvement & process development: review dispensary processes, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Leadership, training & professional development: support and train colleagues, contribute to wider projects, and engage in ongoing learning to develop skills and improve practice standards.
