The Facilities Management Service is passionate about ensuring our buildings and property assets fully support the delivery of Council services to the citizens of Lancashire and about making an effective contribution to the realisation of the Council's vision to make Lancashire the best place to live, work, visit and prosper. To further these objectives, we are looking to hire a Technical Support Officer to undertake a critical role in the operational compliance and management of a wide range of Council properties across the county of Lancashire.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a relevant FM role, or in a similar property management discipline, and will have experience of undertaking risk assessments and of producing comprehensive and robust compliance documentation.If you possess this experience, are a strong communicator, and are an efficient multitasker with an eye for detail, we would be keen to speak to you.
The role will be based at our County Hall headquarters in Preston but will involve regular work and travel across Lancashire whilst also benefitting from some agile working flexibility.The successful candidate will therefore require a full UK driving license, have a vehicle available for business use, and will need to be flexible when it comes to travel and work location.
