Management accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Management Accountant to join a fast-growing group of companies operating in the creative services and live events space. With a broad remit across multiple entities and a clear path to Finance Manager, this role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant or finalist ready to step up and grow.

The business has expanded internationally and continues to invest in its people and infrastructure. Youll be joining at an exciting point in its journey, working closely with an experienced and commercially-minded Finance Director.

Youll be responsible for delivering high-quality management accounts, improving processes, and contributing to commercial decisions across the group. This is a varied, hands-on role with exposure to multiple business units and the chance to develop leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Full ownership of management accounts for several group entities

2. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances

3. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement projects

4. VAT returns, intercompany reconciliations, and payroll preparation

5. Preparing insightful reports and analysis for the FD and senior leadership

6. Supporting and mentoring junior team members

7. Leading year-end audit processes and statutory accounts prep
