About the Role:
We are searching for an experienced baker with a passion and proven skill for sourdough and artisan bread. Your primary focus will be crafting exceptional loaves, from long-fermented sourdoughs to a range of hand-shaped, slow-proofed breads that showcase real craftsmanship.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Mixing, shaping, and baking sourdough and other artisan breads to the highest standards
* Managing fermentation and proofing processes with precision
* Working with quality ingredients to create consistent, standout products
* Assisting in the development of new bread recipes and seasonal specials
* Upholding high standards of hygiene, organisation, and production quality
* Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth daily production
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional experience in artisan breadmaking, particularly sourdough
* Strong technical skills in hand shaping, fermentation control, and oven work
* A passion for traditional breadmaking and real attention to detail
* Ability to maintain consistency in a fast-paced, growing bakery
* Team player mindset and positive attitude
