Location: Remote working with hub allocated when required.

The Canal & River Trust generates important revenue from our property business to look after the canals and rivers in our care. As a result we are currently looking for a Property Administrator to help support our excellent Investment & Commercial team.
The successful candidate will d eliver an administration service to the Estates team - providing support to the business using technical knowledge of systems, processes, financial and legal requirements, ensuring Canal & River Trust operates safely and efficiently while complying with defined standards.
The post holder will also ensure processes and business systems are used efficiently and records updated following the Teams transactions and amendments.
Location
This role is based working from home, with a requirement to attend our main hub spaces from time to time for team working a collaborative meetings. It is important that you are able to reasonably commute to one of our main hubs below.
Relevant hubs include: Leeds, Ellesmere Port, Burnley, Newark, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Gloucester.

Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience
About the role
Key accountabilities:
* Assist in creating, tracking and entering data - whether that be property or finance - on behalf of the Team.
* Supporting Surveyors in collating relevant property records and information as part of the disposals process.
* Support Surveyors in carrying out detailed internal consultation processes on property disposals.
* Support Surveyors in various post disposal matters including transferring utility and Council Tax / Business Rates accounts.
* Ensure completed property records are correctly stored on the Trust's paper records and electronic storage systems.
* Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure that property insurance information is updated post disposal.
* Displaying the Trust values and behaviours at all times.
About you
Technical:
* Educated to A level standard or equivalent e.g. NVQ Level III Business Administration, advantageous.
* A confident communicator with excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Comprehensive IT skills and knowledge of business applications.
* Possess strong technical and computer based skill (Microsoft word, outlook, excel).
General:
* Attention to detail.
* Enjoy administrative work and supporting others to get the job done.
* Be naturally well organised and structured in your work.
* Able to manage multiple tasks at once.
* Experience with SAP is beneficial.
* Ability to work autonomously on pre-set tasks.
* Comply with Canal & River Trust Health & Safety policy and defined standards, report incidents, accidents and near misses.
* Assess the risks and make adjustments to work methods where appropriate.
* Consider your own and others behaviour.
* To be aware of your own responsibilities regarding safeguarding and to support our commitment to providing safe environments and working practises that promote and protect the safety and welfare of children, young people and adults at risk at all time.
