Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out installation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer care in a fast-paced environment.
You will carry out installations of access ramps, including all associated groundworks, and ensure a high standard of workmanship and customer care at all times. Groundworks will typically include clearing areas in gardens for ramps, laying paving slabs, and forming small concrete pads where required to support safe, compliant installations.
This position also involves basic data entry, along with strong phone etiquette and clear communication to liaise effectively with customers, office staff, and site teams.
Additional Requirement
This role requires the successful candidate to be able to pass Sizewell C security vetting and be willing to work on the Sizewell C site as required.
Job Summery
* Assist surveyors, providing information and advice regarding ramp installations working closely to overcome any issues that may arise during an installation
* Carry out installations of metal ramps
* Carry out installations of plastic and portable ramps
* Ensure the correct levels of stock are maintained on vehicles at all times
* Ensure vehicles are kept clean tidy and organised at all times.
* Ensure all stocks are kept in a safe condition.
* Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adherence to the relevant health and safety procedures.
* Be pro-active in offering suggestions of improvement for the department in general.
* Return Photographs of all installations including any associated paperwork to the office administrators using mobile tablet device.
* Be multi functional within the access department capable of surveying, preparing and installing all access products when needed.
* Be available for work in various locations throughout the UK including over night stays.
* Pursue personal development of skill and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
* Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
* Any other duties commensurate with the post.
