Nursery Practitioner (Temporary Contract) – Full-Time, Term-Time Only Hours 7:30 am – 3:30 pm Full-time Term-time only Contract Period Start Date: 5 January 2026 End Date: 12 July 2026 We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our welcoming team on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities General Nursery Duties Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities Supervise children during play and learning sessions Provide warm, nurturing pastoral support Safeguarding Adhere strictly to all safeguarding policies and procedures Maintain a safe, secure environment and prioritise the wellbeing of every child Key Worker Responsibilities Act as a key person for a designated group of children Complete observations and maintain up-to-date learning journey records Teamwork Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive, supportive atmosphere Assist in maintaining appropriate staff–child ratios at all times Deputy Duties Provide administrative support to the Nursery Supervisor Support with data collection and assessment tasks Contribute to the effective daily management of the nursery All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
