Airswift are currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their project delivery team in Aberdeen on a 6 month contract basis. Assist Project process owners in Quality Management – data collating/analysis/trending reporting (as necessary). Assist in the close-out of Quality Risks by the Risk Management System. Assist Project process owners in establishing their delivery process and procedures. Liaise with Third-Party inspection bodies upon request from the Project Quality Manager/ Lead Quality Engineer. Monitor compliance with Industry related regulatory codes and standards. Participates in the internal audit schedule, preparing, reporting, and closing out audit reports and actions resulting from the audit. Provide input and support the Supplier/Subcontractor evaluation processes and monitor Supplier/Subcontractor performance. Prepares, reports, and Leads external audit activities. Follows up with actions resulting from external audits to fast-tracking closure of non-conformances. Drive close-out of non-conformances listed on the action tracker, identify trends or overdue actions, and report updates to the Project Quality Manager / Lead Quality Engineer when requested. Participates in root cause investigation of customer non-conformance upon request by the Project Quality Manager/Lead Quality Engineer. Recommend improvements to invert negative trends impacting the project to Project Quality Manager/Lead Quality Engineer. Participates in project meetings as required. Maintain Project information on the company’s SharePoint Portal as required Liaises with Project team members to facilitate fast-track closure of product/service non-conformance. To report promptly to the Project Quality Manager/Lead Quality Engineer all matters related to Project QMS. Ensure that all necessary Quality records are identified, controlled, and retained by project, client, and regulatory requirements. To participate (as necessary) in activities relating to Project QMS Improvement Initiatives. Undertake (as necessary) awareness training in the Project QMS procedures and applications. Prepare and present QMS power point presentations upon request. Lead Project Progressive Learning workshops as requested by the Project Quality Manager/Lead Quality Engineer. Provide QMS performance data as requested by the Project Quality Manager/Lead Quality Engineer for reporting purposes. Support / promote Quality initiatives implemented to achieve Project deliverables. Proactively identify and report potential non-conformances to prevent their occurrence. Provide QMS performance data as requested by the Project Quality Manager/Lead Quality Engineer for reporting purposes. Participate in Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) initiatives to identify improvement opportunities. Essential: QMS experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry. Experience in PED, ATEX, CE Marking, ASME/API. Experience in process and system auditing, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry. Good knowledge of management systems including ISO 9001, and its application to Contracts/Projects. Completed recognised IRCA Internal QMS auditor. Held/holding a Quality Engineer position. Mentor/support quality engineers and trainees. Desirable: Experience in the Oil and Gas (or similar industry) with supervisory experience or undertaken training of a supervisory or management nature. Completed Personnel Development Plan and CQI modules, Quality Management Diploma. Completed recognised IRCA Lead Assessor course.
