People Director

As the business continues to modernise and grow under private equity ownership, Voyage Care is seeking a People Director to join the Executive Leadership Team and shape the future of its people strategy.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal appointment, reporting directly to the Chief Executive. The People Director will lead a high-performing team of 30–40 professionals and take ownership of the transformation and delivery of the organisation’s full people agenda, including:
* Scaling a positive, consistent culture across a dispersed, operationally-led workforce
* Modernising HR platforms – including payroll, rostering, and people systems
* Driving leadership development and succession planning
* Aligning talent, reward, and engagement strategies to the wider business plan
* Strengthening workforce analytics and operational workforce planning
* Providing clear, values-led leadership to both the people function and executive team
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will bring:
* Executive-level HR leadership experience within regulated, complex, and multi-site environments
* A proven track record of delivering large-scale people transformation programmes
* Familiarity with HR systems implementation, data strategy, and digital platforms
* A values-led approach to leadership, combining strategic acumen with empathy and resilience
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including board-level influence
