Chroma is working exclusively with a leading Financial Services Company that is looking for a talented Business Analyst to join their growing team just outside Stockport. The business has grown steadily in recent years and prides itself on its friendly, welcoming and supportive environment.
The role itself operates under a hybrid model; typically, 1 day per week in the office is recommended. In practice, attendance is about once every 2 weeks on “Together Days". Additional office days are based on individual preference or project needs, not enforced attendance. This flexibility reflects a trust-based environment, focusing on outcomes rather than presenteeism.

What you’ll do:
* Collaborate with technical teams and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions across the business
* Skilled in eliciting requirements and bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams
* Able to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively and confidently manage competing priorities and stakeholders

* Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical jargon into user-friendly language.
* Enthusiastic and proactive – takes the initiative to offer ideas and seek improvements.
* Comfortable operating in small, fast-moving teams.
* Desire to continuously develop knowledge of the industry.
* Comfortable using software development adjacent tools, namely Jira and Confluence.
* Experience of working within a Financial Services environment would be desirable
* Actively provides support & assistance to other people
* Forms and maintains professional working relationships.
* Shares information and knowledge with other people.
* Is aware of the impact of their behaviour on others and resolves conflict where it arises.
