Key Responsibilities
As a School Caretaker, your responsibilities may include:
* Day-to-day site maintenance and minor repairs
* Opening and securing school premises
* Carrying out health and safety checks and compliance tasks
* Managing contractors, keys, alarms, and deliveries
* Maintaining cleanliness, security, and school grounds
* Supporting with room setups and school events
* Completing COSHH and risk assessments
* Acting as a key holder and point of contact on site
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
* Proven experience as a School Caretaker or Site Manager
* Previous experience working within schools or education settings
* Relevant caretaking or facilities qualifications
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
* COSHH training
* The ability to work independently and proactively
* A current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
