Due to continued success and growth, we have a new role available for an experienced Assistant Accountant to be based at our Group Head Office in Chorley.
Duties
The successful candidate would be working within the busy Accounts team, who handle all financial aspects for the Group. Duties would include:
1. Manufacturer bonus debt reconciliations
2. Bad debt provision reporting & review
3. Various balance sheet account reconciliations
4. Calculate and post accruals and prepayments
5. Fixed Asset depreciation
6. Manufacturer Composite submissions
7. Preparing regular reports as required by Group
8. Work to an accounts preparation timetable
If you have an accounts background (qualifications not required) and know how to use Excel, we can train you on the rest.
If you have used Kerridge or a similar DMS, or worked in the Motor Industry previously that would be beneficial, but not essential at all.
