An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a well-established and highly respected metal fabrication business based in Taunton.
Specialising in bespoke architectural metalwork and structural steel fabrication, this company delivers high-quality projects across the South West for contractors, developers, and private clients.
The Role Working within a modern and well-equipped workshop, you will be part of a skilled fabrication team producing a wide range of bespoke metalwork and structural fabrications. Materials are pre-processed using modern CNC equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Typical Projects
* Feature stairs, access stairs, gantries & walkways
* Balustrades and handrails
* Balconies
* Structural steelwork
* Bespoke architectural metalwork
Responsibilities
* Fabrication and welding of bespoke metalwork components
* Working from technical and fabrication drawings
* Ensuring high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience in fabrication or manufacturing
* Ability to read and work from fabrication drawings
* MIG/TIG welding experience
* Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
* Good organisational and planning skills
* Ability to work on own xsngvjr initiative
* Minimum 5 years fabrication/welding experience preferred
* Experience using tube bending machinery and robotic welding systems would be advantageous, although training can be provided
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm
* Friday: 8:00am 4:00pm
