Job Overview
Qualified Pharmacy Checking Technician – 37.5-hour week, permanent contract. We are looking to recruit a technician to work at our 520‑branch located at 31 Market Place, Egremont, CA22 2AG.
Shift Pattern
* Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Tuesday 09:00‑17:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Wednesday 09:00‑17:30 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Thursday 09:00‑17:30 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Friday 09:00‑17:30 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
* Lead dispensing activities by checking and dispensing prescription items quickly and accurately.
* Ensure high standards of customer care and services throughout the branch.
* Build customer relationships, establish their needs, provide friendly advice and demonstrate product knowledge.
* Coach team members to uphold the same standards.
* Maintain meticulous attention to detail while working under pressure and strict deadlines.
Requirements
* Proof of completion of the Accuracy Checking Course (ACT Qualification) and registration with the GPhC.
* Passion for pharmacy and a drive to contribute to the business.
* Strong people and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
